Reddit

Steve Huffman and Alexis Ohanian founded Reddit in 2005 after joining Y Combinator’s first start-up batch. Aaron Swartz’s company Infogami later merged with Reddit during its early development. The site centred on user-submitted links and voting, letting communities decide which material rose to prominence.
