eToro was founded in 2007 by Yoni Assia, Ronen Assia and David Ring with the aim of making online investing more accessible and social. By 2026, eToro operated a multi-asset investing platform across dozens of countries, combining brokerage functionality with social feeds and portfolio-copying tools.
