Canaan

Canaan was established in 2013 by Nangeng Zhang and became known for Avalon-branded application-specific integrated circuit miners for Bitcoin. The company shipped early commercial Bitcoin ASIC systems, listed on Nasdaq in 2019 and expanded from selling mining machines into operating mining capacity as well.
