Allient’s corporate roots reach back to Hathaway Corporation, founded in 1939. The public company later divested older instrumentation businesses and adopted the Allied Motion Technologies name in 2003. In 2026 Allient supplies precision technologies used in industrial, medical, aerospace, defence and other engineered systems.
