From its early roots to 2026: the Power Integrations story
Power Integrations was founded in 1988 by Klas Eklund, Art Fury and Steve Sharp to improve high-voltage power-conversion electronics.

The company’s TOPSwitch family, introduced commercially in 1994, integrated functions that previously required multiple components in switched-mode power supplies. Power Integrations went public in 1997 and continued developing increasingly efficient high-voltage semiconductor products.
