Blueair Blue Max 3450i brings smart air purification to larger rooms
The Blueair Blue Max 3450i is a smart air purifier designed for larger rooms, combining high airflow with automatic pollution sensing, app control and Blueair’s HEPASilent filtration technology.
Blueair rates the purifier to clean a 43m² room in 12.5 minutes. It can also handle a space of up to 103m² in 30 minutes under the company’s stated test conditions.
That makes the Blue Max 3450i more suitable for lounges, open-plan living spaces and larger bedrooms than compact desktop or bedroom-focused purifiers.
Blueair Blue Max 3450i combines two filtration methods
The Blue Max 3450i uses Blueair’s HEPASilent technology.
Rather than relying on mechanical filtration alone, HEPASilent combines mechanical filtration with electrostatic particle charging. Blueair says this allows its purifiers to move air efficiently while maintaining lower noise and power consumption than an equivalent mechanical-only design at similar CADR levels.

Its 360-degree intake makes placement easier
