Corsair NIGHTSWORD v2 Wireless SD Puts a Stream Deck One Click Away From Your Gaming Mouse
Corsair is extending the Stream Deck concept beyond dedicated control panels with the NIGHTSWORD v2 Wireless SD, a gaming mouse that can summon an Elgato Virtual Stream Deck directly from a dedicated button.
Available globally from 10 August 2026, the right-handed wireless mouse combines that Stream Deck integration with a 33,000 DPI Corsair MARKSMAN S optical sensor, optical switches, up to 8,000Hz polling and three connection options.
The interesting part is what Corsair has not done. There is no miniature Stream Deck display built into the mouse. Instead, pressing the dedicated Stream Deck Launch Button opens a configurable Virtual Stream Deck overlay on the computer screen.

It supports polling rates of up to 8,000Hz in both wired and 2.4GHz wireless operation.
Polling rate describes how frequently the mouse can report its position and button state to the computer.
At 1,000Hz, the theoretical interval between reports is around one millisecond.
At 8,000Hz, that interval can drop to approximately 0.125 milliseconds.

Optical switches are rated for 100 million clicks
Corsair uses optical switches for the primary mouse controls.
The company rates them for 100 million clicks and says optical actuation eliminates the debounce delay associated with traditional mechanical-switch contact behaviour.
