KPIT was founded in Pune in 1990 by Ravi Pandit and Kishor Patil, with early roots in technology and engineering services. By 2026 KPIT concentrates on software-defined vehicles, electrification, autonomous and connected-vehicle engineering for global automotive manufacturers and suppliers.
